Glass wall

~ for my girl, I love you sweets ~

A glass wall is being built
To see through but not to pass
To feel the pain through the glass
A wall made of blame and guilt

A wall to protect from harm
But what side needs protection
If both sides show affection
It feels cold while it should be warm

Glass bricks are added each day
I can't stop the progress
I could not say I care less
Since I do not know what to say

A hammer comes to mind
To smash the wall apart
With all the power in my heart
And the biggest love I could find

Will there be a little door
For me to come and be with you
Or should I just see you through
The glass walls while you cry more and more

The tears I cry with my hands
Pressed against the cold wall
Wish that it would break or fall
And that our love never ends...

A separation which you can look through but never reach the other side...
